I don't read fanfics. At all. No matter how good of a writer the person is. And I know that seems a bit rude, but it's just not my thang. I want to be able to make up the charachters in my head when I read fiction, I don't want them to be named the same as the people in a band I love. And the sex parts are sometimes a bit overwhelming. Like, 15 year olds write pr0n. o_O SPooky. I read fiction, and I'll watch porn if I ever get the need to.

well Barb my opinion on fan fics is this
I dont read that many of them for a start.
the ones I do read are quite often slash fics.. the reason being is many of these people are GREAT writers who really write a interesting story from a different perspective. I dont think Graphic fan fics of any kind belong on a fan board. Thats why there are fanfic sites where these people write.
I hate the teeny bopper porno fanfics they just make me go eeeeeeeewww and I think you have every right to complain about them. Those ones cross lines on a pg rated board. They arent well written and they just purely bopper fantasy about sex with Darren mostly.

I agree with you on that. I mean, I'm a fan fic writer, but I've never written anything graphic. I'm more of an angst writer, myself and I don't enjoy reading something that is purely 'so and so' having sex with 'so and so'. Like Kat said, they normally aren't written well and I perfer to read something that has a plot and isn't just sex.
